Biography

I am Ribwar, with over 15 years of clinical practice and educator experience. My areas of expertise include Advanced Nursing Practice, Medical and Surgical, Critical Care, Oncology Nursing and particularly Gastrointestinal and Endoscopy Practices. I have certification in clinical education, andragogy for university level instruction and endoscopy practices in field of gastroenterology. I hold a BSc of Nursing, MSc of Advanced Nursing, and PhD in Adult Nursing with a specialization in the Gastroenterology and Endoscopic Practices.
Currently, I am Vice-Dean for Scientific and higher education affairs at college of Nursing. Prior to this position, I held a variety of positions in academic career at university level including Director of Curriculum development, and Director of Quality Assurance. I am a member of Health Staff Syndicate Kurdistan region-Iraq, and The European Society of Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Nurses and Associates (ESGENA). I actively wok as a researcher in the field of medical, nursing and health related to the gastrointestinal and endoscopic practices, that presented at both local and national conferences, published articles at locally and international level.
