Philosophy of Teaching
Philosophy and Mission of the University InstructorVision and Perspective:
The university is an academic institution that encompasses various scientific and educational disciplines. Its mission is to prepare qualified and capable individuals who can contribute to their fields and society. The university acts as a developmental environment—much like a family, a government, or a non-governmental institution—shaping individuals through its educational influence. The integrity of society is closely linked to the integrity of the university, and the strength of the university lies in its ability to nurture and refine all the factors that influence academic excellence, both positively and negatively.
In this context, our university (University of Raparin) strives to uphold this mission. As a university instructor, I believe it is my duty to commit to the following principles in both scientific and educational contexts:
Instructor’s Mission:
Consistent effort to enhance one's own scientific competence through active participation in research, academic reading, and seminar delivery.
Elevating academic performance by conducting research and delivering seminars in the field of expertise.
Participation in conferences, workshops, and training courses that help enrich the instructor’s scientific and academic background.
Communicating in a language that reflects professionalism, clarity, and respect.
Using modern teaching technologies and tools that aid in student engagement and learning, keeping pace with current innovations.
Creating a desire for learning among students and guiding them in a way that promotes scientific curiosity, self-confidence, and leadership.
Ensuring fairness and equity among students while addressing their needs within boundaries that do not compromise academic quality.
Promoting national identity and patriotic values among students in a constructive and respectful manner.
Instructor’s Mission Toward the University:
Advancing the academic and professional landscape by organizing specialized courses for faculty and staff in various fields of expertise.
Strengthening academic relationships with local and international universities to benefit from scientific collaboration and exchange of experience.
Establishing research centers and providing the necessary facilities for both instructors and students to conduct meaningful research—contributing to the university’s scientific standing.
Digitizing the university library to make knowledge access more efficient and wide-reaching.
Developing laboratory infrastructure and resources to ensure effective practical learning for students in scientific disciplines.
Appointing the right people to the right positions based on merit and qualifications.
Appreciating and motivating all dedicated individuals within the university who perform their responsibilities with honesty and commitment.
