Dr. Star Mustafa Faqi Muhammad Baban
Education
• B.A. Salahaddin University/College of Arts, Department of Arabic Language, 1981.
• M.A. Koya University, College of Language/Department of Arabic Language, 2006.
• PhD Koya University, College of Language/Department of Arabic Language, 2013.
Work Experience
• Started work as an Arabic language teacher in preparatory school in 1983.
• Worked as a school headmaster and assistant headmaster for 10 years in Hawler and its outskirts.
• Started teaching at University of Raparin/College of Basic Education, Department of Arabi Language from 2009 till now.

Philosophy of Teaching

In teaching Arabic literature, I aim at broadening students’ perspective and increasing their knowledge about the various eras (Ill-literate Era, Islamic Era, Rashidi and Amawi Eras, etc.) of Arabic literature. I also try to draw the students’ attention to the changes and transformations took place in the field throughout these eras with regard to the political, social and economical aspects. My priority is to make them learn how teach these eras in their future career as intermediate school Arabic language teacher.
