Biography

I am Salar Ali Shareef, a dedicated lecturer and researcher with a robust background in molecular pathology and toxicology. I earned my MSc in Molecular Pathology and Toxicology from the University of Leicester in 2014 and I am currently pursuing a PhD in Immunology at Koya University.

Since the foundation of the University of Raparin in 2010, I have been an integral part of its academic community. I began my career there as a Junior Biologist and transitioned to an Assistant Lecturer in 2014, a role I held until 2021. In recognition of my contributions and expertise, I was promoted to the position of Lecturer in 2021.

Throughout my tenure at the University of Raparin, I have been deeply involved in both teaching and research. I have a strong track record of international collaboration in research, reflecting my commitment to advancing scientific knowledge and fostering global academic partnerships. I actively supervise undergraduate research projects, guiding students in their academic journeys and contributing to their professional growth. Additionally, I deliver lectures to undergraduate students, sharing my extensive knowledge and passion for biology and immunology.

Philosophy of Teaching

In terms of studying and pedagogy , it is crucial to make students as the center of learning and giving them the opportunity of independent learning. In terms of research, I suggest that the students should be given materials to learn research methodology and the ways of academic writing.
