Biography

Jihad Anwar Qadir was born in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, in 1989. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Sulaymaniyah, Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, in 2011, and the M.E. degrees in Electronics Computer Engineering from the Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences at Hasan Kalyoncu university, Gaziantep, Turkey, in 2016.
In 2011, he joined the Department of Computer Science, University of Raparin, as an Assistant Programmer, and in 2017 became an Assistant Lecturer. His current research interests include Deep Learning, Machine learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Speech Processing.

Philosophy of Teaching

As a faculty member in Software and Informatics Engineering at the University of Raparin, Kurdistan Region, Iraq, my teaching philosophy is deeply rooted in fostering critical thinking, innovation, and practical application of knowledge. My areas of expertise include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Speech Processing. I believe that teaching these advanced topics requires a blend of theoretical understanding and hands-on experience.

My approach emphasizes interactive and student-centered learning. I encourage my students to engage in active problem-solving and collaborative projects, which helps them develop not only technical skills but also teamwork and communication abilities. By integrating real-world applications and current research into my curriculum, I aim to make the learning process relevant and inspiring.

I strive to create an inclusive and supportive classroom environment where every student feels valued and motivated to explore their potential. Utilizing state-of-the-art tools and technologies, I prepare my students for the ever-evolving landscape of software and informatics engineering. Continuous assessment and feedback are integral to my teaching, ensuring that students can track their progress and address any challenges promptly.

Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their careers and contribute to the technological advancement of Kurdistan and beyond.
