Biography

My name is "Mohammed Othman Ahmed", an assist. lecturer at the University of Raparin, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Department of Animal Resources since October 2019.
I was born on July 01, 1988, in the city of Qalat-Dizeh near the Iraq-Iran border. Since I was only three months, my family has been forced to move to Hajiawa by the ancient regime of Saddam Hussein. That's so, I spent my childhood and studied basic and preparatory schools at Hajiawa. I have started my Bachelor's studies at Koya University in 2008 and got my B.Sc. degree in Forestry Engineering by 2012. For being ranked first over the university graduates, I had a chance to work as a lab assistant where I obtained my Bachelor's.
After four years of experience in Genome Research Institute of Koya University, I had an opportunity to study abroad through Tempus Publick Foundation, I have been granted to participate in the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship. I have started my Master's at the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Science - MATE (Former: Szent Istvan University), Budai Campus, Budapest - Hungary in September 2016, then I have awarded an M.Sc. degree in Horticulture by June 26, 2018.

Philosophy of Teaching

My philosophy of teaching is centered on recognizing and nurturing the unique strengths and backgrounds of each student. Every learner comes from different life experiences and has their own way of absorbing and processing information. As an educator, my role is to create an individualized and conducive learning environment that allows each student to grow, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential.
I am deeply committed to equipping students with the necessary skills to thrive in the 21st century. This involves fostering critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, collaboration, and technological literacy. By providing a safe, inclusive, and idea-respected atmosphere, I aim to empower students to explore, question, and express themselves freely.
Ultimately, my goal is to guide students on a journey of self-discovery, instill a love for lifelong learning, and prepare them to become responsible, well-rounded individuals who can positively contribute to society.
