Biography
I am an assistant lecturer in the department of English language, college of basic education at University of Raparin. I achieved bachelor's degree in English Language & Literature/College of Languages/ University of Salahaddin, Erbil/Iraq, in 2013, and master's degree in English Language and Literature/ College of English Language and Literature, Yuzuncu Yil University, Van/Turkey, in 2018. Additionally, I got my academic scientific title as a university lecturer in 2021 and many other Training certificates (Pedagogy Certificate, AI Using in Class, TEYL, TOT, Leadership Communication Skills, Supervisory Skills . . . etc.).
In terms of experience, I have got 11 years of work experience in Teaching English Language to speakers of other languages and taught diverse levels of students in various cultural backgrounds & environments (High Schools, Universities, international companies, and NGOs). More specifically, during my academic and professional career, I have taught different subjects to university students among them: English Grammar in Use, Essay Writing subject, and Translation subject, reading writing skills, listening speaking skills, History of English Literature, Introduction to English Literature, and Drama subject. And I have taught different English Language curricula among them: Sunrise, Headway, English File, Face to Face, Interchange, American inside out, Headways Academic Skills, English File, Speak out, imperial English UK.

Philosophy of Teaching
Methods of Teaching and Teaching Strategies and techniques:My Philosophy of Teaching is that effective approaches, methods, and various technics of teaching and technological tools should be incorporated and implemented to achieve the objectives and learning outcomes of the course. Student-centered classroom, communicative & constructive approach are adopted to ensure the engagement, empowerment of the students and to create a learning environment where students feel that are valued in the learning process. I believe an educator should be as a guide who encourage the learners and train the students to make them be able to research and utilize reliable sources for the purpose of discovering and constructing knowledge. This involves asking students to write assignments in some of the basic topics/concepts and they will be asked to actively participate individually and in groups to run parts of the class.
