Teaching philosophy is the intellectual framework that guides teachers in their educational work inside and outside the classroom, reflects the values and principles that teachers believe in teaching and learning, and determines how they view students, knowledge and the role of schools and universities in society
A teacher with a clear instructional philosophy believes that education is not just the transfer of knowledge, but an interactive process aimed at building the learner’s character, developing critical thinking, and enhancing problem-solving skills. He also believes that each student has unique abilities and needs, which requires diversifying teaching methods and providing a stimulating and safe learning environment.
In light of the philosophy of teaching, the teacher seeks to be a role model of behavior, a source of inspiration, and a partner in learning. She likes to motivate students, respect their opinions and value their contributions, which boosts self-confidence and a desire to continue learning.
In short, teaching philosophy is not just theory, but a practical and ethical commitment that contributes to building informed generations capable of facing life’s challenges and contributing positively to the development of their communities
