Biography
My name is Muhammed Abdulla Ahmed, and I am from Ranya, Kurdistan Region. I earned my Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani (AUIS), where I proudly graduated as the top student in my class. I later pursued a Master's degree in International Relations at the University of Kurdistan - Hawler (UKH), ranking as the second-highest student in my department in 2019.
In 2013, I was honored to be selected by the Study of the U.S. Institutes (SUSI) for Student Leaders program. As part of this experience, I completed a five-week intensive course in New Media in Journalism at Washington State University, which broadened my understanding of media and global communication.
I am deeply passionate about teaching and view it as a lifelong journey of learning and exchange. I believe that through teaching, I not only share knowledge but also grow by learning from my students. Education, for me, is a powerful tool for development, change, and continuous growth.
Philosophy of Teaching
I believe that learning is a continuous, collaborative process—one that happens not only through the sharing of knowledge but also through the experience of teaching itself. Every classroom is an opportunity for mutual growth, where I learn as much from my students as they do from me.My approach to education emphasizes practical, hands-on skills that are essential for today's job market, such as language proficiency, digital literacy, and professional communication. I am committed to using modern, student-centered teaching methods that help learners become more organized, professional, and adaptable to the rapid changes in the global job market.
In addition to equipping students with market-relevant skills, I aim to foster a culture of reading, research, and critical thinking. I believe that these habits are foundational for personal development, societal progress, and sustainable change. Education should not only prepare students for employment but also inspire them to become active contributors to the development of their communities and cultures.
