Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Information Technology
The role of the Directorate of Planning, Statistics and Information Technology (DPSIT) is to preserve information that is useful to the University, provide ID cards, and install and maintain computer and related equipment around the University.
This directorate consists of three main offices:

1. Data Collection: All new faculty, staff and students affiliated with the University must fill out a form on joining the university and from time to time afterwards. This data is then inputted into a central database for use by other departments and directorates upon request.

2. Information technology: This section is responsible for two main functions:
a. Provision of ID cards for students, staff and faculty affiliated to the University.
b. It also opens short course for lecturers, employees and for those students.

3. Computer Maintenance: Installation and repair of computer related technology around campus, such as internet networks, computer terminals, printers and photocopy machines.
