Within the framework of Internationalization and the implementation of Bologna process, University of Raparin delegated a number of academic staff to Germany to attend a workshop. The delegation included Dr. Dara Tawfeq, Vice-President for Student affairs, Dr. Najmalden Mohammed, Head of Civil Engineering Dept., Salah Babakr, Director of Language and Development Center, Saman Mohammed, Head of English Department, and Begard Khalid, Head of Medical Lab Dept.

The delegation participated in the Development of Internationalization strategies, Mobility and Research Cooperation workshop, which was organized by the Goettingen University from February 19th to 21st. Moreover, representatives from the Ministry of Higher Education, a number of Kurdistan universities as well as European universities participated in the workshop.

It is worth to mention that the aforementioned workshop was part of (Tigris-Erasmus) which is for the internationalization of curricula, KRG universities as well as other MHE institutions in collaboration with European Union.
