The Office of Grants and Scholarships is pleased to announce the award of a grant to the University of Raparin from the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad.

This Public Diplomacy Grant is entitled “Strengthening Nursing Education in Kurdistan” for the amount of $20,000 with the dates of April 1-December 31, 2019. This grant will help support an important conference entitled “Toward Best Nursing Practices: Current Reality and Future Ideals” that will be held at the University of Raparin from April 10-11, 2019. This conference will nursing faculty from Erbil, Sulaymaniyah, Duhok, Baghdad, Basra and Mosul. The Principal Investigator of this grant is Dr. Sanaa Abdulsahib Hassan, Dean of the College of Nursing.
