Two lecturers from the University of Raparin's Department of Nursing - Mahmood Arf Mahmood and Renas Mohammad Khdir - participated in an international course on caring for newborn babies and postpartum haemorrhage. 

The course took place during Feb 2-7 2019 and was supervised by the Need Organization – LDS, in collaboration with the Sulaymaniyah Development Center of Health & Safety Training.
