A delegation from the University of Raparin attended a three- day workshop at the University of Suleimani. The workshop was about evaluating the process of internationalization of public universities in the Kurdistan Region which is funded by the European Union, and the University of Raparin’s representative gave a presentation about the impact of the project on the University of Raparin.

The participating universities included four European universities, eight public universities of KRG, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Kurdistan Institute for Strategic Research.

It was decided to hold another conference at the University of Salahaddin for the same purpose, The framework of the project will be presented based on the recommendations have been made at the previous workshop.
