Dear attendees...
Much-loved guests…
Dear teachers and dedicated employees of the University…
Loyal family members of the graduated students…
Promising graduate students, who are the hope of our nation…
Welcome!
We are pleased to have you here in the seventh Graduation Ceremony of our University graduates. On this occasion, we give a huge welcome on behalf of the Presidency of Raparin University and High Graduation Ceremonies Committee; warmest congratulations to our lovely graduated students and their families. We would also like to congratulate and extend our gratitude to the lecturers and the management staff of the university. We hope that the knowledge they have achieved will be of great help to develop the academic level and a huge source of serving our community. Dear students
In the academic year (2017-2018), we have come across many difficulties, such as economic and political crises imposed on our country; and that's due to some inevitable changes in the area, especially in Iraq and Kurdish region that have suffered the consequences. Kurdistan region and the Ministry of Higher Education have faced various issues stemming from financial crises, political, tribal, and also doctrine rivalries. Such critical situations resulted in having students being unhappy, and sometimes both students and lecturers almost lost hope.
However, neither lecturers, nor students and their families have quit despite the desperate financial situation. They wanted to stop us from continuing teaching and pursuing knowledge, but together we faced the adversities. You might think that your certificates will be of no help to find jobs in any of the available sectors in the region. As a result, you might feel a deep sense of despair. But, sooner or later these problems will come to an end, this is only a temporary situation that other countries, nations, even our people had gone through. Therefore, during and after the uprising of our nation, our lecturers and students never stopped trying; and after a brief period of time peace and prosperity embraced our nation. So, at this moment, our nation is in desperate need of helpful and dedicated people like you to overcome this critical situation. You will definitely be a huge source of serving our country through working in public and private sectors. Accordingly, we do actually ask the future Kurdish government to make the lives of hardworking lecturers and employees better, along with making it possible for each graduate to have a suitable job according to their profession.
Today, as we are having the seventh graduation ceremony of our university, holding the motto 'Through knowledge and wisdom we will make the future brighter.’ we send our deepest regards and praise the Peshmargas who have sacrificed their lives to protect their country. Also hats off to their family.
Lastly, we express our gratitude, on behalf of the University and the High Graduation Ceremonies Committee of the Seventh Graduation to those who have supported us throughout last academic year and made this event pass successfully.
Congratulations again! Wish you more progress and success!
