LDC is pleased to host an afternoon discussion with The Migrant Project - an international organisation that monitors migration, provides advice and support, as well as educates people about the risks of travelling illegally.

The afternoon will be spent with a presentation by their team, a research presentation and debate by our English Department students and there will be a chance to talk to councillors or project staff about how students can get involved.

This will be particularly useful for those students currently studying the Social Awareness elective or will be doing so in the coming months. Later in the year, LDC also intends to follow up this event regarding international study opportunities.

The presentation itself will begin at 1pm Wednesday 30th January in the Seminar Hall of the Basic Education Building.
