The University of Raparin will present the Game of Ur at Erbil Citadel

On Sunday, April 14, 2019, a team from the Heritage Unit and the Language and Development Centre of the University of Raparin met with the High Commission for Erbil Citadel Revitalization to agree a collaboration promoting the arts, culture and heritage of Ranya at the ancient heart of Erbil.

This will be the first time the Game of Ur has been played by so many people in Mesopotamia for 1000s of years. The event will be held on Saturday 4th May 2019.
