Over 27 academic staff from the College of Agricultural Engineerig Sciences and th Department of Pyschology were trained to implement the Bologna Process for the 2021-2022 academic year. The 24-hour course was delivered over six weeks, and it was part of the plans of the University of Raparin to train academic staff in areas crucial to the implementation of the Bologna Process. As the such, the Center for Pedagogical Training and Academic Development designed six modules for the program. The course focused on the following topics:
1. An Introduction to the Bologna Process
2. Module Naming and Module Descriptions
3. ECTS and Allocations of Students Workload
4. Using the ECTS Matrix
5. Assessment Types and Tools
6. Regulations for Updating the Curriculum
The course lasted for six weeks, from March 10th to April 18th, and it was taught by some of the best trainers at the University of Raparin who have got international training on the Bologna Process and have had first-hand experience of its implementation across the European universities.
University of Raparin has started implementing the Bologna Process for over three years now. The process was first experimented in a few programs as a pilot project. Other colleges quickly followed as they found the new process inspiring and productive.
