On December 14th and 15th, 2022, a delegation of UoR participated in a joint workshop held by The British Council and KRG's Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the presence of the representatives of Iraq's Ministry of Higher Education and some of Iraqi universities.

The workshop was about reforming and developing the studying curriculum of English department at Colleges of Education and Basic Education of KRG as well as Iraqi universities. Both of UoR's Dean of College of Education, Dt Hawraz Qadir, and Dean's Assistant of College of Basic Education, Dr Khunaw Sulaiman, were among the workshop participants.
