In the presence of UOR's president, Assist. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, and a number of University Council members, a course on anchoring and presenting that was launched for some of UOR students, came to an end on 15 Feb 2023.

Containing practical and theoretical lessons, the course was run for two weeks by UOR's Media Directorate in order to enhance successful academic anchoring and presenting among the participant students.
The course contained a number of lessons and seminars divided into two sessions:
Week 1: Theoretical
1- 'Skills to Be a Presenter and an Anchor' by Assist. Prof. Dr. Araz R. Ahmed
2- 'Body Language, Presenting and Anchoring' by Mr. Siyamand H. Aziz
3- 'How to Be a Successful Anchor' by Mr. Zana Hasan
Week 2: Practical
1- 'Inroducing Layers of the Voice and Well Breathing' by Mr. Kurdo Sardar
2- 'On-Stage Presenting Principles' by Mr. Didan Majeed
3- 'The Importance of Language in Anchoring and Presenting' by Assist. Prof. Dr. Sherwan H. Hamad
