A symposium entitled 'IELTS Assessment: Tips and Common Mistakes' was held on 26 Feb 2023 by the LDC of UOR at the College of Basic Education.

The event started with a speech given by the director of LDC, Mr Khalid A Abdullla.

The first panel was chaired by Mr Abdulla F. Balu consisting of the following seminars:
1- 'Speaking Skills' by Mr Sardar Abdulla
2- 'Listening Skills' by Mr Sherzad Khalid

The second panel was chaired by Mr. Sardar Abdulla consisting of the following seminars:
1- 'Reading Skills' by Ms Zulaikha Shahbazi
2- 'Writing Skills' by Mr Ibrahim Karimi

Moreover, each panel ended with a QA session for comments and questions from the audience.

The event ended with the award ceremony of the certificate of appreciation to the speakers of the symposium.
