On March 8, 2023, In the presence of the UoR president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, and the UoR vice-president for Higher Education and Scientific Affairs, Dr. Hazhar Q. Ibrahim, the department of Education and Psychology successfully finished a symposium on ' The Role and the Effects of Psychology on the Families, the Society and Raising the Level of Awareness'.

In the second day of the symposium, two panels were organized. Both panels were chaired by Dr. Mirawdal Ahmed during which the following three seminars were presented.

1- 'The Issues of the Family' by Prof. Dr. Amid I. Najad
2- The Issues of the Society on Family Formation' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamila Nabawi
3- 'The Role of Psychology in Solving Problems of the Family and the Society' by Prof. Dr. Nasir Yusify

At the end, the symposium researchers were awarded certificates of participation by the UoR president.
