On the World Veterinary Day, UoR's department of biology, in cooperation with Kurdistan Veterinary Medical Syndicate - Raparin, held a symposium entitled 'The Role of the Veterans in the Society', on 29-Apr-2023.
The event started with the speech of Kurdistan Veterinary Medical Syndicate, given by Dr. Saady Tayib, and the speech of the UoR president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed.

 
There was one panel chaired by Mr. Karzan A. Qurbany during which the following three seminars were presented.
1- 'Zoonotic Diseases' by Dr. Rzgar, Q. Pirot
2- 'Homeless Dogs' by Dr. Niga Sabir
3- ' Meat Hygiene' by Dr. Saady Tayib
 
Finally, the symposium finished with a question-answer session.
