The UoR’s college of Nursing, in collaboration with Powislanski University-Poland held a joined international workshop entitled ‘Nursing Education and Curriculum Development; Future of Nursing Practices’ on May 2nd, 2023.

At the beginning of the event, the UoR’s president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed gave a speech during which she highly praised all the attempts of the UoR’s college of Nursing. Besides giving an overview about college of Nursing and the challenges it faces, she further thanked the Powislanski University-Poland for all their continuous help and support to the UoR, especially their attempts to standardize the Nursing college’s programs of study.
The Workshop was divided into the following two sessions:
1- ‘The Future and Development Possibilities of Nursing Curriculum in the European Context’ by Prof. Dr. Katarzyna Strazata – Osuch
2- ‘Nursing Education and Current Practices in Kurdistan Region-Iraq’ by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rebwar A. Mohammed

At the end, the audience took part in a Q&A session and gave their comments and recommendations.
