The UoR’s department of Philosophy, in corporation with the UoR’s development section, held a symposium under the title of ‘Philosophy as a Solution’, on May 8th 2023.
At the start of the event, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aras Abdulrahman delivered the college of humanities denary speech, during which he pointed out the importance of such philosophical discussions. Following that, Asst. Prof. Lect. Aram Qadir, head of the department of Philosophy, gave the department’s speech.

The whole symposium, chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muslim H. Mohammed, was organized in only one panel during which the following seminars were presented:
1- ‘From Consulting into Clinical Philosophy’ by Prof. Dr. Hassan H. Sdiq
2- ‘Apikorsim, Philosophy as Treatment’ by Asst. Prof. Lect. Aram Qadir
3- ‘The Negotiating Philosophy in Settling Disputes’ by Mr. Kosret Khidr
4- ‘The Moral-Environmental Philosophy’ by Mr. Keyfi Abubakir
