In the presence of the Uor president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, UoR Council members, the director of the President Jalal Talabani Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Sabir, along with their delegation, a memorandum of understanding (an MOU) was signed between the two parties on May 16th, 2023.

The MOU insists on strengthening the overall relation between the UoR and the aforementioned foundation in all areas, including development of relations, information and experience exchange and most importantly, providing student services and facilities.
Later, during a press conference, both of the UoR president and the director of President Jalal Talabani Foundation declared the main aim of the MOU in which both parties have strongly insisted on continuous development of their strategic collaboration, as well as establishing shared projects and academic work. They also stated that their MOU objectives will be soon available for the UoR lecturers, administrative staff and the students. Translated by Rasul H. Rasul
