The UoR’s College of Nursing hosts the second international conference entitled ‘Nursing Education and Health Care; Current Status and Future Practices’, in collaboration with The Mazovian Academy in Płock and Powiślański University on Oct 23rd and 24th at the main UoR campus in Ranya.
This is the second international conference to be held under the auspices of the Minister of Higher Education & Scientific Research, Dr. Aram M. Qadir, and under the supervision of the UoR president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmad.

The conference brings together the global leaders in Nursing Education & Career in Health Sciences fields to present their research at this exclusive scientific program. It focuses on discussing and finding solutions to the nursing education and its problems in Kurdistan Region, Iraq and Poland The conference forms an opportunity to researchers and experts to discover the basic, innovative and latest research developments in the field of Nursing Education and Practices.
Nursing education is the process of teaching and learning in Nursing and Health Sciences. It is clearly shaping the health care delivery in any country, because the nursing staff is a vital component of the healthcare system. Thus, nurses influence the healthcare outcomes for individuals, families, communities, private sector and government.
