Based on the second edition of Webometrics 2023 ranking of universities, released this July, University of Raparin is raising fast compared to the previous years and has recorded a high rank among Kurdistan and Iraq universities as well as the universities of the world.

This edition of Webometrics shows that, UoR ranks 11th of Kurdistan public universities, 16th of public and private universities in Kurdistan, and most importantly obtained the rank of 4578 among 30,000 universities worldwide.

The ranking of University of Raparin has been moving up continuously in the last years. This year, it has been moving up by (200) ranks, compared to the previous editions of Webometrics as illustrated below:

On this occasion, the Presidency of UoR congratulates all its teachers, employees and students. It also thanks all its teachers and employees who have played a tremendous role in the overall developing of the university as well as in the 2023 ranking record of Webometrics.
