The UoR's College of Humanities Department of Geography held a workshop on changing the department's system of study from seasonal terms into adapting the Bologna process on Wed, 22-08-2023.
The workshop started with the speech of College of Humanities Dean, Asst. Prof. Dr. Aras A. Mustafa during which he focused on the importance of the Bologna process and its adaptation mechanisms. Then the Head of the Geography Department gave a speech.
Later on, the following seminars about the Bologna process were given to the lectures of the Geography Department during the workshop:
1- 'How to Implement the Instructions of the Bologna Process by Asst. Prof. Dr. Rebwar A. Muhammed
2- 'The Seasonal Term System and the Geography Department's Current Subjects of Study' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Pshtiwan Sh. Ahmed
3- 'ECTS, Prerequisites and Multiple-Choice Subjects' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Muhammed Q. Rasul
4- 'Benefits of Bologna Process' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ahmed R. Karim
5- 'Problems of Bologna Process' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Ashty S. Aziz
The workshop ended in the Department of Geography Lectures' Q&A session.
