On Sep 10th & 11th, the UoR's Research Center, in cooperation with the UoR's Bologna Process Committee, held a workshop on the Implementation of the Bologna Process where all of the UoR lecturers and the academic staff attended.
The event started with a speech given by the UoR President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, during which she pointed out the importance of Implementing the Bologna Process. Later on, the UoR's Vice-president for the Scientific and Higher Education Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hazhar Q. Ibrahim, presented a speech.
The first day of the workshop, Sep 10th, 2023, was divided into two panels. The first panel was chaired by Asst. Prof. Lect. Aram Q. Sabir and the second panel was chaired by Asst. Lect. Jutyar I. Jamal. The following seminars were given in the two panels:
1- 'Implementation of Bologna Process at the University of Raparin' by the dean of College of Nursing, Asst. Prof. Dr. Rebwar A. Muhammed
2- 'Student Workloads and Learning Outcomes in Bologna Process' by Dr. Saman M. Othman
3- 'Implementation of the Bologna Process: Rewards and Challenges' by Asst. Prof. Lect. Kamal A. Khidr
4- 'ESG European Standards and Guidelines' by Mr. Sardar H. Abdullah
The two panels ended with a Q&A session of the workshop participants.
The second day of the workshop, Sep 11th, 2023, was divided into two panels. The first panel was chaired by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sherwan H. Hamad and the second panel was chaired by Lect. Salih A. Babakir. The following seminars were given in the two panels:
1- 'Student's Workload and Distribution and Variety of Activities in Bologna Process' by Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamal A. Omer
2- 'Registration for Study Modules and Final Exams' by Dr. Ibrahim N. Qadir
3- 'Cheating in Exams' by Lect. Shwan B. Hasan
4- 'Bologna at the Department level: from Subjects to Modules' by Lec. Araz M. Ismail
At the end, the workshop participants were awarded certificates of participation.
