As part of the Ministry of Higher Education’s plans to enhance and develop their Quality Assurance, the Ministry launched a two-day intense training program together with the NVAO Netherlands Organization where several lecturers and academic staff members attended.

The training program conducted at the University of Sulaimani by both of the NVAO trainers, Michèle Wera and Yvonne Overdevest during which the UoR lecturers, Dr. Muhammed Ahmed, Ms. Berivan Abdulkhaliq and Mr. Sardar Abdulla took part.
   The training program mainly focused on the European guidelines and standards of the Quality Assurance in which the Internal Quality Assurance as well as the External Quality Assurance were discussed in detail.
   At the end of the event, the participants were awarded certificates of participation.
