On the sidelines of the 2nd International Nursing Conference on October 23-24, 2023, all the deans of Colleges of Nursing, which consists of 20 colleges, across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, met at the University of Raparin.

During the meeting, many important topics were discussed about nursing education and nursing practices in Iraq and Kurdistan, in a way that Nursing and Nursing education fulfill the needs of citizens. It was decided to work to open and add new specialists in the field of Nursing education.
At the end of the meeting, the President of the Iraqi Nursing Committee, Prof. Dr. Ali Karim, awarded shields of appreciation to the President of the University of Raparin, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, and also to the Dean of the College of Nursing Asst. Prof. Dr. Rebwar A. Mohammed, for hosting and conducting the meeting. Translated by Rasul H. Rasul
