With a decision of Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research, a new University named ‘Charmo University’ opened in Kurdistan. The Presidency of Raparin University congratulates students and citizens of Chamchamal city on opening Charmo University.

Dr. Yousif  Goran, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research of KRG said “opening this university will have a significant role to Chamchamal and Kirkuk students, more specifically to students of Kurdish disputed areas. The Minister also added “Charmo University welcomes students for the academic year 2014-2015”
