University of Raparin works to open job opportunity Centre On Wednesday 19th Nov 2014, in partnership with Kani Tu Company and in a volunteer work, University of Raparin held a workshop titled in “developing job opportunities in Raparin province”
The workshop started in the presence of Raparin province administrator, head of Ranya municipality, teachers and university graduates. This workshop provided an overview on the skills needed for those who try to get suitable job opportunities in the private sector.
Mr.Aras Ramadan, director of relations office at University of Raparin talked about the significant role that the University will be carrying out in future plans more specifically opening “Career Centre " in the next month, this can be a great support for students to find better job opportunities easily.
Following that, Mr. Ameen khidir Ahmed who is in charge of media and cultural activities at University of Raparin, gave his speech to the attendees and said " the main purpose of holding this workshop is to make the University of Raparin have a better role in giving preferable job opportunities ,in addition of finding a mechanism to help graduates who are out of work to get jobs" Mr. Ameen also added " we want to make the University of Raparin to have an effective and significant role in finding solution for the current economic crisis and unemployment in the region and, moreover, improving University of Raparin’s relations and partnership with private companies and organizations in advance.
Biryar Qadir, the director of Kani Tu Company said “it’s for the first time doing projects like this in the area, we are really interested in working with University of Raparin, “that can be helpful for students to be familiar and guided with job opportunities offered by famous companies in Erbil, Sulaimani, Duhok and foreign companies in the region” said Bryar. Students are well informed of writing CV, making interview, and attending the exhibition that offers jobs on 26th Nov 2014 in Erbil.
