On 16th May 2015, the department of Kindergarten within the faculty of Basic Education of Raparin University held its first festival entitled (Kindergarten, the first altering place in the society)

The festival started in the existence of the president of the University, the Directors of Rania and Qaladize Education Directorate, Directors of all kindergartens of the area and several lecturers and students of Raparin University.
The festival started with a song by Papula kindergarten children, and later the opening speech of the festival presented by Dr. Ahmed Mahmood, Dean of faculty of Basic Education.
Later on, some seminars and researches presented by the lecturers and students of levels two and three, this is despite of several other activities such as a hand working show, a 1000 drawings by Papula Kindergarten children, a photography show and some practical activities by students of kindergarten department.
At the end of the festival, University of Raparin’s appreciation letter has been given to the Rania and Qaladize Directorate of Education for their continuous support to the Raparin University students.
