Today, Tuesday, 11th December 2018 'in attendance of Dr. Yusuf Goran, the Minter of Higher Education and Scientific Debate, the best lecturer was selected between 22 researchers from Kurdish Universities who were been giving award and appreciation by the Ministry of Higher and Scientific Research. Dr. Ahmad Baize Ahmad, from the Faculty of Humanities, was the accolade awarded best researcher of the year. 

The presidency of Raparin University congratulates Dr. Ahmad and wishes him all the best in the performance his labors and in the scientific field, as well as the university.

On Wednesday, 7th November 2018, the University of Raparin held a conference to discuss the quality of meat in Kurdistan. The event took place in the university’s Activities Hall, in collaboration with the Faculty of Science.

On Saturday, 4th November 2018, a seminar was held by the UOR Job Centre, at the Civil Engineering Department. One of the aims of the seminar was to introduce the UOR Job Centre to the attendees, and to draw their attention to some of the services which the center is going to offer to students this year. During the seminar, the “Design Day” project was also discussed.
