A staff task force is electronically updating the University's administrative system. For this purpose, a meeting was held on 6th February 2019. Dr. Muafaq Khalid, President of the University of Raparin, staff of the Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research staff, and a number of university employees, and IT staff were in attendance. 

The Directorate of Media and the General Students Delegates organization arranged a scientific seminar by lecturer Mr. Pshko Rasul about Google Classroom on 16th January 2019 at the University of Raparin. Mr. Pshko shed light on the program and thoroughly explained the usage of the program to the attendees. He also outlined the mechanism for creating lessons via Google Classroom. He also spoke about how to set up lessons in Google Classroom.

On December 24 2018, a symposium on social media and its effect on student psychology took place in the Qazi Muhammad Hall. This involved a collaboration between the Psychology Department and the Directorate of Sports Activities and cultivation.
The Dean of the College of Basic Education, Dr. Hiwa Mina Mahmud, gave a speech to the attendees. Prior to this, Dr. Sherwan Sharif Aziz provided an explanation of the symposium seminars. Mr Aram Qadir chaired a seminar on ‘Student Use of Social Media’, followed by Mr Ibrahim Salih’s seminar on ‘Banning the Improper Use of Social Media’. Sivan Omer then chaired a seminar on ‘Social Media and its Impact on Student Psychology’.
