The Middle East Research Institute (MERI), in cooperation with the Publication Directorate of Raparin University, has opened a programme for training journalists under the aegis of the Ranya administration.
The course, which began on Wednesday 30th October, 2018, from 10.00 to 4:30 in the afternoon, was designed to develop the abilities of journalists from all over the area.
Heritage Unit enlists History Department students to help investigate archaeological zones
The University of Raparin Heritage Unit’s Analysis of Heritage Survey, in Raparin Directorate of Heritage, have arranged for students from the History Department of the College of Humanities to visit archaeological areas in the Raparin administration over the last two weeks. Moreover, they have also been involved with the investigative work being undertaken there.
University of Raparin conducts thought-provoking panel discussion on Islam and Secularism
On 30th October 2018, the University of Raparin arranged a thought-provoking panel discuss on 'Islam and Secularism and their Embodiment in Culture, Arts, and Politics in the Kurdistan Region'. The panel took place in the University's Activity Hall.
First, Mr. Himdad Mahmood warmly welcomed the attendees. Then, in brief, the topic and its significance were clarified for the audience.
