On June 8th, 2023, in the presence of the dean of the College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawraz Q. Hama, as well as a number of the UoR lecturers and students, a ceremony was held to introduce a students’ translated product.

In the presence of dean of College of Agricultural and Engineering Sciences, Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed I. Mohammed, head of the Animal Resources department, as well as a number of the UoR lecturers and students, the department of Animal Resources held an academic workshop entitled 'Animal Project Management and Biosecurity', on May 18th, 2023.    The workshop was divided into two panels. The first panel was chaired by Asst. Lect. Nihayat I. Mohammrd and the second panel was chaired by Asst. Lect. Rebwar M. Ahmed. The following seminars were given during the two panels of the workshop: 1- 'Methods of Increasing Lamb and Kid Birth' by Asst. Lect. Aram O. Hamad 2- 'Fundamentals of Dairy Farm Establishment' by Asst. Lect. Aram O. Hamad 3- 'Biosecurity and Common Diseases of Ruminant Animals' by Dr. Nazim H. Rasul      At the end, the audience participated in a discussion session, and finally, the workshop participants were awarded certificates of appreciation.

A delegation of the UoR took part in an international educational conference in Erbil on Wednesday, May 17th, 2023.    The delegation included the UoR president representative, director of the UoR research center, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamal A. Omer, dean of college of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hawraz Q. Hama, dean of college of Basic Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Sakar M. Hasan.    The main purpose of the conference is to prepare and teach lecturers about the Z and the Alpha Generations in which several Iraqi and Kurdistan universities took part. The conference is due to last for two days online with the participation of more than five thousand people in seventy countries worldwide.   Translated by Rasul H. Rasul
