The UoR's research center, in cooperation with the office of the UoR's vice-president for the students’ affairs, held its fourth students’ academic research conference for all their college students, on May 10th, 2023.

In a letter, cc’d to the UoR, President Jalal Talabani Foundation announces two scholarships, one which is in master’s and the other is in doctorate. According to the letter, the scholarships were granted to the Foundation by Alalamain Institute for Higher Education Iraq – An Najaf, which seeks to contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the Bahr al-Ulum Charitable Foundation.

On May 8th, 2023, the UoR’s president, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, received Mr. Rahel Aziz, the director of the Dutch organization of SPARK in Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
