As the first step of starting IREX partnership program for new Universities at the second year on 2-5th Feb 2015 a workshop held in Hawler. The program guided by Virginia Tech and IREX organization aims at developing higher education studies in Kurdistan, through helping and giving technical aids, developing English language programs in Kurdistan public Universities, the program is funded by American foreign Ministry.

University of Raparin was also included in the web matrix ranking list for year 2015 and put level 44 Mr. Araz Ramazan director of relations and media at Raparin university said to University of Raparin's website that Alexa .com is an independent American company which is the second part of Amazon company specialized for collecting web data, Alexa is a professional website for evaluating and ranking websites all over the world. This company has announced its final ranking list for this year in which University of Raparin got level 5 among other Kurdish Universities websites.

On 9th-10th Feb 2015 at cultural center of Salahadin University in Hawler, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific research with cooperation of IREX organization held a workshop on Internationalization of Kurdistan Public University Campuses.
The workshop was started with the presence of Minister of Higher Education and Scientific research, consul of America in Erbil and directors and staff of the relations of the Kurdistan public Universities.
