Today, Sunday (28th of February, 2021), with the presence of his excellency Assistant Professor Dr. Mofaq Khalid Ebraheem, the president of University of Raparin and a number of University Board Members, Students and Teachers, the two English departments of both Ranya and Qaladze campuses held the 2nd Academic Debate Conference at Activity Hall, College of Basic Education, which was organized collaboratively by English department/College of Basic Education and General Representation of Students of University of Raparin.
As the first university among Kurdistan Region's universities, Raparin University provides a special service to its dormitory students.
Upon the recommendation of the President of Raparin University, the IT Department of the University provides high quality internet services to all of the university's domitory compounds, both girls and boys.

As part of the internationalisation process of Kurdisan public universities, known as TIGRIS project, funded by the European Commission, a deligate from our university - office of international relations, took part in a 5-day workshop from March 2-6 at George-August-University in Göttingen.
