In alignment with the Ministry of Higher Education's strategic plans to enhance international accreditation and collaboration within Kurdistan's universities, the University of Raparin (UoR) and Kent State University have entered into a partnership to implement a substantial project. This initiative is under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, as well as the Supervising and Quality Assurance Agency.

   As part of the Ministry of Higher Education’s plans to enhance and develop their Quality Assurance, the Ministry launched a two-day intense training program together with the NVAO Netherlands Organization where several lecturers and academic staff members attended.

 
   On Sep 10th & 11th, the UoR's Research Center, in cooperation with the UoR's Bologna Process Committee, held a workshop on the Implementation of the Bologna Process where all of the UoR lecturers and the academic staff attended.
