College of Nursing, in coordination with the Persistent Career Development Center / Raparin Directorate General of Health, held a first aid awareness course to the officers of the Ministry of Interior in Raparin area, on Monday, Aug, 7th, 2023.

Based on the second edition of Webometrics 2023 ranking of universities, released this July, University of Raparin is raising fast compared to the previous years and has recorded a high rank among Kurdistan and Iraq universities as well as the universities of the world.

According to the Webometrics’ Transparent Ranking (16.0) edition of July 2023, which has relied on the universities’ Google Scholar Citation Profiles, the University of Raparin has reached a high rank among the universities of Kurdistan, compared to the previous editions.
The UoR’s citations in this edition reached (2663) compared to the last year’s July edition of (2022) which were (1324) citations. That means, it has got (1339) more citations in this edition. In the meantime, the top twenty (20) profiles of the list are excluded for improving representativeness by removing outliers. The University of Raparin ranked 11th among the Kurdistan universities.
