On 21st Jan 2023, at the College of Education's Library Hall, in the presence of Dean of College of Education, Dr Hawraz Q. Hama, Administrative Supervisor of Pishder Education Directorate, Mr Kawa and Director of Raparin Education Directorate, Mr Mohammed Kareem, the Supervision Unit of Raparin Education held a series of education seminars for all the UoR's fourth-year students of College of Education.

On 19 Jan 2023, president of UoR, Assist. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed along with the members of university council received the Indian Consul General in Kurdistan Region, Mr. Subhash Kain, vice-consul Devendra Kumar and their delegation.

In the presence of UoR's President, Assist. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, university council members as well as a number of lecturers and students of university, on 18 Jan 2023, college of basic education's department of Kindergarten held a symposium about 'The Phenomenon of Suicide and Its Outcomes'.
