In an online meeting, led by the UOR President, Asst. Prof. Dr. Paiman R. Ahmed, and attended by the UOR team on one side, consisting of Director General of Research Center, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jamal A. Omer, the Head of Insurance Management Department, Dr. Bestun A. Othman, the Head of Civil Engineering Department, the Representative of the English Department of College of Education, Asst. Prof. Dr. Salih I. Ahmed, met with the China Three Gorges University team on the other side, consisting of Dean of School of Foreign Studies, Dr. XI. Jing, Director of the International Education Center, Dr. HU Xinying, Director of International and Regional Research Center, Associate Prof. Dr. JIN Haibo, Director of the Discipline Education Center, Dr. LIU Junhong, Director of Master of Translation and Interpreting center, Associate Prof. YAO Jia, an MoU was signed between the University of Raparin and the China Three Gorges University on October 30th, 2023.

On the sidelines of the 2nd International Nursing Conference on October 23-24, 2023, all the deans of Colleges of Nursing, which consists of 20 colleges, across Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, met at the University of Raparin.

 
   In a significant move towards development, The University of Raparin (UOR), and Tishk International University (TIU) have initiated a strategic partnership, signaling a new era of collaboration in higher education and research. This collaboration was established on October 19th, 2023, during a meeting attended by delegates from both institutions.
